Shane doesn't really have any of his friends in his class, but I'm sure it won't take him time at all to make new ones!
The only snafu was Shane left his backpack on the morning bus, which happens to be a different one from the afternoon bus! So I guess he'll have to wait until tomorrow to get it back.
Barry says he gets it from his mom. This past week I left my purse at Dairy Queen, and then 2 days later left my wallet at the grocery store. Today we had to waste some time, so Barry and I stopped at Dairy Queen again, and as we walked out the door to leave I realized my purse was left AGAIN! Seriously - 3 times in 1 week? At least this time I remembered before we drove off. Not sure what's up with my memory, but I think I need to find the "reboot" button.

It's that mommy brain syndrome, I tell ya. I think I'll be a life-long sufferer. Can't seem to shake it. You need a remote alarm on your purse, so if you move too far away from it, it beeps! (Oooh, that's a great idea, maybe we should invent that!)
Speaking of leaving purses behind..I left mine in the grocery cart at Walmart. When I went back later to the Customer Service Center to see if they had it a employee walked by with it and was going to put it in the office. I told her that that was my purse. She laughed and kept walking. I said, "No, seriously, that's my purse." Brody happened to be with me on this special occation and now every once in awhile he'll say, "Mom, remember when you left your purse at Walmart?" I don't think he will ever let me forget!
