Summer Fun

Summer is just flying by! We've been trying to throw in a little fun between working and the insane heat we've had.

My Aunt Diane invited us over for a swim. It was a great day hanging out with family. There were aunts, uncles, cousins, cousin's kids . . . my kids are always amazed at how much family they really have.

Shane celebrated his 8th birthday with a theme of his favorite fruit - WATERMELON! Thanks to those who came out to celebrate with us!

We're leaving for our South Dakota trip in a couple weeks. I'm a little bit nervous because it's coming quick and I don't feel as prepared as I think I should be. I pretty much have an idea of what we all want to see, now I just need to make up some kind of schedule of when we're going to see what so nothing gets left out. Then of course there are the endless lists of what needs to get done, what to bring, etc.

I'll be posting some pictures here while we are on our trip. The cabins we rented have wi-fi, so it's nice to stay connected. :)
