My baby turned 7 on Friday! So I took the day off of work and we went to the Como Zoo. 2 years ago we went there and Shane wasn't able to ride the bumper cars because you had to be 7, so he's been waiting for this chance for 2 whole years! I think the boys rode the bumper cars at least a dozen times each. The lines weren't very long so they usually got on every other round.
We checked out the butterfly exhibit at the Zoo. I could have stayed in there for hours! It was so beautiful. Some of the butterflies were as big as birds! My mom must have had the lucky color shirt on, because she had butterflies landing on her left and right.
It was such a great day - weather was perfect, it wasn't too crowded and everyone had fun!
