A couple things

I finished my first week working at home! It's still so surreal to think I work from home. I get the kids on the bus, then make breakfast, check out my e-mails and whatever else on my computer (while listening to KQ and KDWB morning shows), then I get somewhat dressed and put some makeup on (I don't want to feel like a total bum) and head downstairs to work.

I'm really enjoying it. Basically what I do is add new items to our websites (total of 7) and come up with witty descriptions as the vendors e-mail us updates, or mark items out of stock as needed. I also go through and re-order website pages (best selling products on top - out of stock on bottom). I also get calls from customers during the day. Some days are slow (Thursday I had 3 calls) and some are busier (Tuesday I had 11). The customers aren't always the most pleasant to deal with, but it hasn't been too bad.

I am glad it's the weekend though. Work is using much more of my brain then I'm used to!

The kids have been really great at not bothering me too much when they get home from school, since I work until 6. They come in and say Hi, then are normally off to friend's houses or go play computer.

Bronson brought home his half-semester report card today. It was all A's and one A+. He just catches on to everything so quickly. We tease with him when he gets a B on a test. I get all dramatic pretending I'm crying. He thinks it's funny. He knows we just want him to do his best. He came from very "C average" parents, so anything above that is a bonus! ;) (Okay, I got A's when I actually tried.) Conferences are next week. I'm pretty anxious to see how they're doing - mostly Shane. He's been really testing limits lately, so I'm hoping he's staying in line at school. :)
